Dear Artisan user group;
I have received an error I have not seen before using a Mac with the latest solfware : Sierra with a 64 bit system.
We have installed the CP210 driver with our data logger using Omron controls.
Here is a screen shot:
Modbus Error: Read float() hex() argument can't be converted to hex@line 30521
Could it be we have the wrong driver installed?
We use to use the FT232 driver but data driver was upgraded to a new model that has worked with the CP210 driver on most models (this data logger is setup for future use with Bluetooth capabilities)
i am using 600 gram batch drum on gas roaster
with phidget for gas valve and fan
i get on manual roasting
fan goes to 100 between batches unexpectedly
and gas goes to 100 and minimum 4 during roast unexpectedly
the only thing i can think of the cause is previous alarms i set up for
automatic control but it is not on this setting and i deleted them.
attached graph with the burner burst during roast
fan is going to max even when fan closed between batches around 180 c and
picture of alarms and extra device
How can I stop this?
Hi Marko and team.
We've just upgraded to 2.4.4, and appreciating the new functionalities
One thing that has changed, and has actually been useful to us in previous
versions, is viewing the angle of increase of BT and ET curves when heating
up to meet our Charge temp and comparing it to the background curves. The
change that has been implemented is the trimming of the Background Curves
between Charge and Drop, and we no longer have this information available
Sometimes environmental conditions or roaster issues that cause a slower
than expected increase are early warning indicators to us that something is
not normal, and we compensate accordingly, or stop to look for an issue.
Would it be possible to make this trimming of the background curve a
selectable option in future versions?

i saved the automatic and control definition in separate

should i clear pid ramp and soak completely in the manual
settings although the control is not active?
