Hi guys,
I was very excited when I first know about Artisan, it is really awesome work, I have been thinking about writing a similar one long time ago.
I have a D-I-Y hot wind roaster which only support manual operation. Now I want to upgrade it to support PID control and visual statistics to make it smart :)
It seems that Fuji PXR4 with RS485(modbus) could be the best choice for me. But I cannot make a decision for the right model (order code) :(
My roaster has a heater and a fan, the PXR4 needs to control both of them.
I know the heater is easy to control for PXR4 (here I choose to use SSR for control output 1), but the fan speed control is tough here.
The fan is not only for cooling but also spinning beans in the capsule so that beans could be heated evenly, so the fan should be working all the roasting period by adjusting the speed level.
So, could artisan meet my current requirement ? Which model of PXR4 should I have?
BTW, I did not find how to use Artisan to start a roast that using the loaded (background/template) profile, does Artisan support this function now?
Any help would be very appreciate!
Thank you very much!
